We’ll use aerially suspended fabrics, or hammocks, to play with the principals of Hatha Yoga: Grounding while expanding, finding balance and freedom through the alignment of breath, physicality, and intention, exploring our relationship to gravity and buoyancy, finding length in the spine and greater openness in the hips with ease, and the support of our aerial slings. No prior yoga or aerial experience is required.
When: TUESDAYS, 6:45-7:45 p.m. 1/9-3/20 (no class 2/20). NEXT SESSION: 4/10-5/15.
Cost: $10/class for a multi-class pass (pre-pay for 4 or more classes), or $12/class to drop in (drop ins are on a space available basis; please email ahead of time).
