The Circus Bus has been an integral part of our camp for the past few summers. The bus picks up/drops off passengers at Demetral Park, (Commercial and N. 6th St., east Madison) at approximately 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., and Clark St. Community School (off Parmenter St. in Middleton) at 8:30/4:30. Note that there will not be a bus on Friday afternoons for our week-long camps, because we will be hosting an open house for parents and other circus fans that afternoon. We are happy to help make alternate/carpool arrangements for any parents that are not able to come to the open house.
Over the past few years, we’ve seen an increase of 60% in the cost of running the shuttle bus, which means we have also had to raise the fee to $130 per week per camper. We will need an average of 20 riders per week in order to break even on bussing. If our ridership is too low for a particular week, we might need to cancel the bus for that week. If we do, we will do our best to connect you with carpools. If not having a bus means you can’t make it to camp after all, then we’ll return your camp fee or deposit as well as your bus fee.
