Denise Schubert began practicing yoga in 2007 as a way to keep fit and as a balance from busy working days. She soon realized how asanas and proper breathing positively influence body and mind. Wanting to go deeper into that experience and learn more about the philosophy of yoga, she went to Kerala, South India and completed the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta teacher training in 2010.
Originally from the Alps in Austria, she has taught Hatha and Vinyasa yoga in Southern Germany for the last years. Her classes place emphasis on body- and mind-awareness, proper breathing and alignment. She hopes to impart to my students that everybody and every body is different. Yoga brings all of us together by teaching us to drop all judgments and simply do what we can for today. Off the mat you can find her hanging out with her two kids.
Denise is a certified 200 hours “Yoga Alliance” yoga teacher and has additional qualifications to teach pre- and postnatal yoga and spine gymnastics.
