me and Celebrate with us and our neighbors, at a downtown-wide open house showcasing our local wonderland of historic buildings, unique businesses and creativity brought to life! Santa will be in town, handing out gifts in the Mazo Community Building. We’re thinking an extra-tall reindeer or two might put in an appearance! At the Rumpus Room, we’ll have the Holiday Disco rolling in the back room, some circus activities, and of course, Birthday Cake! It’s been three years since we bought our beautiful building and moved across the road. Feels like we’ve come much further!
We’re also trying to do a bit of good for the local community this holiday season, by working together to raise funds for the new Mazo Splashpad! Each participating local business is putting together an imaginative gift basket or package. Buy a few raffle tickets ($1 apiece, either at the event or in advance), choose the specific prize(s) you’d like to enter to win. Santa will pick the winning tickets before riding off into the sunset on his fire truck (more handy than a sleigh, since it’s been such a mild winter :). Tickets can be purchased for $1 each and entered to win any of the presented baskets. All proceeds will be donated to the Splash Pad Fund.
