When the Mazo Movement Arts Center opened its doors in early 2002, its aim was to provide teaching, practice and performance space for all kinds of movement and musical forms. In addition to the weekly performances that accompany our circus camps, and the touring show that we’ve been lucky enough to perform on FOUR CONTINENTS, we take pride in our long history of producing original, live, community-based, genre-blending shows. “Some Assembly Required” was a series of fully improvised performances that took place annually as a part of Mazopalooza, our annual improvisational dance festival. Since 2009, our “Wild Rumpus Winter Circus” has involved an all-ages cast and has been a successful fundraiser for our circus scholarship fund, and for other worthy causes. Here’s a list of most of our productions. Not listed are the scores of hard working performers, technicians and volunteers that have created them all. THANK YOU! You know who you are….
